The significance of black friday

As we all know this weekend was Black friday, where there were phenomenal sales. Malls opened extra early just for these sales. Many of us go black friday shopping but have little knowledge on why there is even a black friday every year. Now black friday  follows thanksgiving in America. Back in the days on September 24, 1869, markets crashed following a failed attempt by some finanicers to corner the gold market. This crash had led to a depression. Black friday refers to any friday in which a public calamity occured. More recently, the term Black Friday has been applied to the day after Thanksgiving in which retailers make enough sales to put themselves  into the black ink. Black friday is traditionally the beginning of Christmas shopping season. On this day major retail stores open extremely early and offer promotional sales to kick off holiday shopping. Going black friday shopping would benefit you because you can get many items cheaper than they normally would be. During sale times it is better to go early to malls and stores because it may be crowded and the faster you get there the more you could buy without it being sold out.

Iphone or Android ... the battle continues!

 

The frequent battle between the android and iphone is rising. With more iphones coming out more people are wondering which smartphone they should get. When choosing between an iphone and android it is not an easy choice. They both seem so similar that it is hard to distinguish the differences. The Android DNA is just one of many Android competitors that the iPhone 5 is going to have to stave off in the weeks ahead as shoppers look to pick up smartphones for themselves and for significant others.Apple’s iPhone 5 is going to be facing some fierce competition this holiday season from an assortment of devices. One of those devices is the newly announced Verizon Droid DNA for HTC which packs Google’s latest operating system with a powerful processor, solid camera, and the first full HD 1080p display to hit the United States within the confines of a smartphone.If I had to choose which phone to get I would get either or because there is not a big differnce between both, since I have an android I am more on team android because I love my phone and it is capable of doing anything an Iphone can do. The only downfall about my android phone is that there is no front camera but other than that it is a really good phone to have.
 

Trilogy Album is Out!

The first weeknd album has been released on November 13,2012. The name of the album is called Trilogy. It has just been a week and many places have been sold out. The ratings for this album is 5 out of 5.  I personally am a fan of the weeknd so I went afterschool on tuesday to buy myself a copy. The album comes with three cd's.The collection consists of House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoe of Silence. For those who don't know the weeknd is a new artist whos music is inspirational to many people. Listening to the weeknd can bring you to a calm mood. The Weeknd has established himself as one of R&B’s most exciting voices. The following song is one in the album. If you like what you hear go to the nearest store and buy a copy.
